What Bad Alibi is, and what this devlog is for.
Bad Alibi is a party game about lying to a detective with your friends. And getting caught.
Here’s a round. You get a case file. Say, the 400-kilo champion pumpkin you stole from the Millbrook Harvest Fair. You get a few minutes on voice chat to agree on what happened. Then the detective splits you up and questions everyone at the same time, in separate rooms.
He has your friends’ answers, and he plays them back to you. “Your partner said this. Is that true?”
At the end, the best contradictions are replayed side by side, in your own voices. You will learn things about your friends.
Where we are
Bad Alibi is in early development. It’s for 2 to 6 players, online, on PC, and it’s coming to Steam. There’s no release date yet.
